EXPERIENCE
Claudia is based in our Newcastle office and practices in the areas of workplace law and industrial relations. She assists employers and businesses navigate compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and has experience with various employment and workplace matters, including:
- Modern award interpretation and compliance;
- Managing ill or injured employees;
- Responding to unfair dismissal, general protections and discrimination claims;
- Preparing and reviewing contracts of employment and workplace policies;
- Disciplinary matters (including termination of employment);
- Restructuring and redundancy processes; and
- Enterprise bargaining.
Claudia holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Laws with a Diploma of Legal Practice (LLB) (Honours). She was admitted as a solicitor to practice in the New South Wales Supreme Court in February 2021.
